Our staff are trained in how to monitor not only the physical health of your pet, but how they are coping as well. We document any behavioural or physical changes daily including their intake of food, water and well as their bowel movements. If your pet is not eating we will change their diet and administer nutrigel which is a high vitamin gel.

Hygiene

Maintaining high standards of hygiene is something Bendigo Pet Retreat prides itself on. Each kennel is disinfected and hosed out at least once a day. More if necessary.

We have a policy where by faeces is removed as soon as a staff member notices it.

Each cat pen is swept, moped and has the litter tray cleaned every day.

All food bowls and disinfected and washed after every use.

We use hospital and vet grade antiviricide and antibacterial disinfectant called Vircon S. Other than bleach it is the only product on the market that kills active Parvo Virus.
